Much needed introduction

Ola~!

Alrite... it is downright peculiar to actually create a blog account just for the purpose of commenting on a fellow fren's blog. But since I went thru the trouble of getting one, might as well make full good use of it... agreed? ;)

Anywayz, I hail from the little piece of overlooked land called Malaysia (M'sia for short). For those of you who wonder wat or where this is... think Singapore (somehow this tiny island is more popular than its larger sibling *hrm*) and u're VERY close. to those who know it beforehand... cheers~! Mamak outing, anyone?

For those curious bout the title of this site, I'll tell you this: it was intentionally original. However, I did a quick Google on it a moment ago. Kinda disappointing to learn that the name is also used to represent a certain group of people within the StarWars universe. Probably limited to the books only. But heck... at least I was honest about it. And since I got the account already, doesn't really matter anymore if anyone's keen about originality.

Obsidian, btw, is the solid rock formations that occur when lava cools of rapidly. This occurs especially in volcanic activites close to the sea, whereby the lava cools of when it flows or get in contact with water. It is a semi-translucent and dark rock that I find very mesmerising. But, on the honest side, I didn't know this until just a few years back. I first heard of an obsidian stone in the PC game called Ultima 8 (around 10 years ago) whereby it was a black spot-like thing u could use to concoct ridiculously baffling magic... hahaha.

Enclave is just an area surrounded by a larger unit of land. Like how Kuala Lumpur is actually surrounded by the state of Selangor (go get an atlas if u need pictures :P). Symbolically, every individual is a part of society, living withing the confines of the norm and self-defined principles. From another aspect, this blog is just a small part of a larger network of information. However u look at it, I'm sure anyone can make up some use of the concept of an enclave. I just like it coz it sounds like a cave without sounding so boring :P

Btw, I've always liked to relate to an obsidian coz by physique, I am a dark-skinned individual. By attributes, I relate with a self-perception of uniqueness that I intend to discover, develop and affirm. Seemingly a cliche depending on who you ask, but some schools of thought are just nice as they are.

Phew... shall stop for now. Quite a mouthful (or handful!?) for a first 'proper' blog (i hope)... considering I'm typing this in my office gladly using up the time I'm being paid for totally different reasons. Besides, it is soon time to head home. wat a long drive... *sigh*
