It has been a little more than 3 months since my last post, and I'm truly regretful of the lack of updates. Its really a soup of being overworked, overactive, and a right amount of laziness that added up to this period of 'decay' :P I'm sure some of you probably will scorn at that excuse... after all, it *is* an excuse... hehe.
But... I didn't sign any contract to post here, so quit whining :P (You know who you are... no need for names, hehe).
Anyway, 3 months is indeed a long time and much has happened... on second thought, most of it revolved around work. Sad, but true. But a few interesting things did occur... the most being my trip to Europe.
Before some of you get all 'oooooh'-ey and 'aaaaah'-ye, let me just clarify a few facts about the trip. It was a one week trip to four countries, strictly on business. So I don't have much in terms of photos to showcase, coz I personally didn't get much time for sight-seeing. It was mostly a trip involving flights, car rides, office meetings, more car rides, and hotel check-ins. However, it was still a very enjoyable trip... and something I'll cover in further detail at a later time.
Last month was rather mundane. The only interesting social event involved meeting new people, which is always a good thing. A bunch of my friends initiated this gathering concept whereby everyone brings a small group of friends each... and just hang out. Simple and nice way to expand the circle of friends, really. I sure enjoyed the night; met some fun and borderline psychotic friends, haha. Would I go again? You bet. If it keeps momentum, maybe I'll write about it more :)
It is Chinese New Year (2nd day) today, and I'm at home rather bored (hence the update). Been on a rather long break... took a week off from work. Was expecting a much needed rest, however I fell ill over the last weekend and am still recuperating. Add that to the fact that mom's interpretation of 'son on leave' as 'free labour' kinda does not help much in the rest-department. I'm just hoping that come Monday morning, I'd be all energized and ready to focus on work. It has been a long spell of dwindling morale from my behalf when work is concerned... a boost is indeed much needed.
Shall sign-off for now. Will update about Europe soon ;)
