My previous post was exactly 1 week ago. Considering that 71.42% of that time (yes, I used a calculator) were workdays, there can't really be that much to talk about... especially when you have a social life as pathetic as mine. So let's see... what did happen over the week?
Well, there's food... haha, there's *always* food =Þ However, a few friends and I have started a shared blog dedicated to food and fun outings. I'm presently posting my food reviews there. If you're interested, do check it out at LoF Malaysia!
Ok, now that advertising is out of the picture (hehe), moving on...
Had another spurt of taking random leaves again. I came back on Monday, to be informed that an additional leave was added due to the pubilc holiday on the Saturday before. I was like.. "what!? you mean my leave last friday was technically a 'bonus'?" Can't seem to drop the numbers down... I can't believe I'm complaining I have too many leaves. (Trust me... it's bad when you have leaves you can't seem to spend, sigh)
So... I decided that my Hari Raya weekend now will not be a 3-day weekend, but 4! Haven't figured out what to do for the next 2 days, but I guess that is a good thing on its own. Oh... before I forget...
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri~!!
Next was... Friday night. Had a b'day party to attend, unfortunately, I got stuck at work and had to ffk, *sob*. Counter-activity; colleagues proposed a hangout for supper in Puchong at 11pm. The only problem was... I was done with my stuff at 9pm. That's 2 long hours to spend doing nothing in the office!? Oh wait... there's the Nintendo Wii.... *grin*
2 hours later, we were at Station 1, Bandar Puteri Puchong. It's a common cafe, sprouting in many locations around Klang Valley. Food, nothing great, but it does serve as a good spot to just chillout. Highlight of the night: Jenga! Well, not the real jenga blocks, but makeshift ones that are available in the shop. Of course, we added a twist to the game that I'd highly recommend to ppl. Get a deck of cards and sort out only Aces to Fours. Shuffle these and draw one before your turn. That's how many blocks you gotta shift in 1 round. This gets interesting later on... imagine drawing a 4 when there's only 2 legal moves left :P Talk about knowing the outcome beforehand, haha.
We spent a nice 2 hour long session there... tiring, but fun. Would love to do it again sometime, and I'm sure it will happen... no doubt about it :) It was time to head home then, and usher the long weekend ahead.
