See... 'customer' feedback is good :P

Ola~

Well, I'll skip right through the main details. The only interesting stuff over the past week were 2 food outings. *Why am I not surprised :P* For starters, went to check out some Thai food last Tuesday. That was seriously nice for it price. Can't say its REALLY good, but it definitely was enjoyable. Too bad it felt like I didn't have enough of it, but wouldn't dare order anymore coz everyone else 'retired' for the night when I was still digging thru the food :P *yeah, I'm a pig... can't tell, can you*

Then came Saturday lunch! Oh, before that... Saturday morning: Mandarin class part ! Well. it's the first session that got complicated... thats the boring part. Interesting part (to me, at least); there were 8 ppl in class, 7 were girls =Þ It also meant I got picked on knowing my shy attitude with so many girls around *cough cough*.

Ok ok.. lemme cut the crap. The REAL highlight of the day was, you guessed it, LUNCH! Went to Kanna's Curry House (or something... can't remember the real name). Summary: Banana-leaf meals, freshly fried tender chicken, crispy crunchy fried squid rings, perfectly fried fish, wonderful mutton curry, spicy and fresh prawn sambal, yogurt... and papadams! It was a feast.. sorta. The occasion was really as a farewell lunch for a close fren who's about to embark on a 6-month trip to Germany. Since she loves food equally as much, if not more, than I do... lunch sure was enjoyable from every facet. Kudos to the Saturday lunch! Yay!

Then comes the part where I'm supposed to actually realize the title of this post. So.. jeng je jeng... here goes.

This was my lunch for Monday, 31st July 2006. Yup, good ol' Malaysian char kuay teow direct from Penang...

Honestly, it came from a shop called Penang House but for the sake of a bored Cyberjaya worker, play along :P

So what do we have here then? Well, you can see my lunch box there.. watched over by the Toon Reaper! Nobody messes with my lunch... I got the Reaper himself to guard it, mwahaha!

Well, actually I hoped somebody would mess with my lunch. The prawns were great... but the meal was seriously on pepper-overdose. I've eaten this same dish there several times in the past and it was good, so I'll let it pass this one time.

Anyway, that's my desktop in the office. Beeaautiifullll 19" (or was it 20?) LCD screen and.. er.. nothing much else to be proud of. Heck, the screen ain't much to brag about anymore since all the newcomers are getting Dell's 24" widescreens. *sigh* *envy* C'est la vie~ Well, since these ain't gaming machines, I guess I can drop the envy =Þ
